Privacy Policy

PrintLister is a Chrome extension that helps 3D-print sellers turn MakerWorld models into Facebook Marketplace listings. We built it to do its job inside your own browser and to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains exactly what the extension touches, what we store, what we send to analytics, and what we never do.

The short version: PrintLister runs in your browser. It does not collect your browsing history, it never asks for or handles your Facebook or MakerWorld password, and it does not sell your data to anyone. The personal information we process is the email tied to your subscription, handled by our payment processor, Stripe. If you ask us to email you the install link, we also process the address you give us: we use it to send that link, follow up about PrintLister, and recognize your visit in our site analytics. While PrintLister is in early access, it also sends anonymous product-usage data to our analytics provider, including the listing text you type, so we can improve the product. You can turn that off any time in the extension's settings.

1. Information the extension works with

To do its one job, PrintLister reads and writes data only on the pages where it operates:

2. What is stored, and where

3. Product analytics (early access)

PrintLister is new, and while it is in early access we watch how the flow works so we can fix what breaks. To do that, the extension sends anonymous usage events to our analytics provider, PostHog, under a random ID that is not tied to your name or email. These events include the text you type into a listing (its title, description, and price), so we can see where a listing goes wrong.

What this never includes: your photos, your Facebook or MakerWorld account, anything about your buyers, or your activity on any other website. You can turn product analytics off at any time in the extension's Settings → Privacy.

4. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and processes your payment details and email under Stripe's Privacy Policy. PrintLister never sees or stores your full card number. We receive only the information needed to keep your subscription active (e.g., your email, subscription status, and a customer/subscription identifier).

5. What we never do

6. Permissions, in plain English

7. Data retention & deletion

Local data lives on your device until you delete it, remove the extension, or clear its data from chrome://extensions, and it's gone. Analytics events are retained by our provider for product analysis, and you can stop sending them at any time via the in-extension toggle. To delete your subscription record, cancel your subscription and email us; we'll remove the associated billing record on request, subject to any records Stripe must retain for legal and tax purposes.

8. Children

PrintLister is a tool for sellers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, note it on this page.
